Samsung has officially revised the pricing structure for its flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra in India. Effective starting March 20, 2026, the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra price in India sees significant discounts for the lower storage variants, while bumping the price of the higher storage variants due to the ongoing memory crisis.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra gets a Rs 10,000 off

According to an internal price memo shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary on X, Samsung is reducing the base Galaxy S25 Ultra price in India by Rs 10,000. The base model comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage and will now cost Rs 1,19,999, down from its original price of Rs 1,29,999.

The mid-tier 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage model also sees a reduction, though smaller. The price drops by Rs 2,000, bringing the price from Rs 1,41,999 down to Rs 1,39,999.

The top storage variant is a different story, though. It goes from Rs 1,65,999 to Rs 1,69,999, a Rs 4,000 price hike, just like how Samsung hiked the prices of mid-range smartphones recently.

The document notes that the adjustments are part of a price protection policy for opening stock held by channel partners. Do note that these are maximum retail prices. With bank discounts and retailer discounts, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could effectively be purchased for around Rs 95,000 or less.

The price reduction is due to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. With the launch of the successor, it's only normal for the manufacturer to want to accelerate the sales of older models with discounts to empty the inventory.

Buyers confused between the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra may opt for the former due to its reduced price. If they are patient enough, they could wait a bit longer for the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale sometime in September 2026, to grab the Galaxy S25 Ultra for even less.
