Following the recent Galaxy S27 Ultra render leak, the design of the standard Galaxy S27 series has leaked in new CAD renders. Unlike its Ultra sibling, the standard Galaxy S27 will feature a familiar design to its predecessors.
Galaxy S27 CAD Renders Leaked
The latest Galaxy S27 CAD renders arrive courtesy of OnLeaks and Android Headlines. The renders suggest the Galaxy S27 retains the core design language of the Galaxy S26. This comes as a surprise since the recent Galaxy S27 Ultra renders revealed a revamped camera module.

The standard Galaxy could retain the vertical camera island, while the back of the phone remains pretty clean. The overall design remains boxy with curved edges, an LED flash beside the camera island and a Samsung logo at the bottom of the phone.
Dimensions-wise, the phone measures 149.75 x 71.88 x 7.25 mm, which is almost identical to the Galaxy S26's 149.75 x 71.7 x 7.25 mm. Samsung may also retain the 6.3-inch display, which could be an M14 AMOLED panel, as revealed in a recent Galaxy S27 series display leak.
While the display looks identical to the predecessor, a noticeable change could be a very slight reduction in bezel thickness, maximising the screen real estate a bit more. Besides, the Privacy Display feature is reportedly trickling down to the standard Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ smartphones.
That said, Android Headlines notes that the specific Lavender colourway depicted in these CAD files remains unconfirmed for the final retail release.

Galaxy S27 Expected Specifications
With the design details out of the way, the Galaxy S27 and S27+ are expected to arrive with the Exynos 2700 out of the box. A recent report suggested that the upcoming Exynos 2700 can beat the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. For those unaware, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is launching next month at the Snapdragon Summit 2026.
Optics-wise, the smartphones could carry a new 50 MP Sony sensor alongside a 10 MP 3x telephoto and an unconfirmed 12 MP ultrawide. There have been reports stating Samsung could opt for a 50 MP ultrawide, but much of it remains unconfirmed.
For power, Samsung is expected to opt for Silicon-Carbon batteries this year. The Galaxy S27 Ultra could get a battery upgrade, and the same could trickle down to the standard Galaxy S27 and S27+. The rest of the specs are expected to be pretty similar to the Galaxy S26 series.
That said, we're yet to see the Galaxy S27 Pro renders appear in the wild. For those unaware, it is expected to be better than the standard Galaxy S27s and a notch below the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The S27 Pro may also boast the same Exynos 2700 processor, whereas the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 could be reserved for the Ultra.
With August 2026 coming to a close, more information about the Galaxy S27 series should surface soon. Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 series in February 2026 and may stick to the same cadence with the Galaxy S27 series. Therefore, the smartphones may arrive by the end of February 2027, so stay tuned.
