Newly leaked CAD renders of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra reveal that Samsung may be sticking with a design that's familiar to last year's Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. While barely anything will change on the outside, the leak suggests some meaningful hardware upgrades.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra Renders Leaked
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra renders arrive courtesy of reliable tipster OnLeaks in collaboration with smartphone portal Smartphonechecker. One of the first things to note is the tablet's display.
Despite leaked device animations uncovered in One UI 9 beta firmware suggesting a shift to a hole-punch camera, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra could retain the signature shallow centre notch to house the front camera.

In fact, the overall design of the tablet is nearly identical to its predecessor, with the same 326.34 x 208.46 x 5.12 mm physical dimensions. The rear shell remains the same too, with a magnetic charging strip for the S Pen and a three-pin pogo connector for keyboard attachments. The display is also expected to remain unchanged at 14.6 inches, and it could be the same AMOLED panel.
While the exterior remains identical, the core upgrades could be inside the chassis. A previous teardown of Samsung's AI Core app by Android Authority revealed that the Galaxy Tab S12 series could feature a Dimensity 9500 processor. It could be paired with the same 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage for the base variant.
In addition to the Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ BIS and Safety Korea Certification listings were spotted. The latter included a live image of the tablet showcasing symmetrical bezels and the front camera integrated into the top bezel.
While there's no confirmation about the Galaxy Tab S12 series' release date yet, if Samsung follows its usual cadence, we should expect the Tab S12, Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra to arrive sometime in September or October 2026, alongside the Galaxy S26 FE.
For now, Samsung has locked in the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on July 22, 2026, to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, Z Flip 8, Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
