The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide rumour mill has been working overtime lately, with every new day bringing fresh new details. While recent leaks have all but confirmed the design of the passport-like foldable from Samsung, the latest one shows the alleged case design for the smartphone.

The information comes straight from reliable tipster Ice Universe on X, who managed to spot a bunch of Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide case listings on the e-commerce platform Alibaba. The shared images appear to belong to third-party case manufacturers who usually model these based on actual dummy units. Hence, we can expect them to be fairly accurate.

The images further corroborate the recently leaked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide dummy units and confirm the wide passport-style design of the upcoming phone. The leaker has shared both a transparent silicon case and an opaque textured black cover, giving us an idea of the 4:3 aspect ratio of the smartphone.

Moreover, they also feature the same pill-shaped dual-camera cutout which was present in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide One UI 9 listing. Aside from that, the case also confirms the presence of the volume buttons on the right half, just above the fingerprint + Power button. The USB-C charging port is at the bottom on the right half, and one of the stereo speaker units is on the left half.

Externally, while Samsung is experimenting with a new form factor to rival the iPhone Fold, the smartphone is expected to ship with the core Galaxy foldable DNA intact. This means a flagship offering which is expected to include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 200 MP main camera, a QHD+ display and more.

We already know the phone is more than likely to feature a 7.6-inch folding AMOLED display and a 5.4-inch AMOLED cover screen. That said, with an expected July 2026 launch window, we might see the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide break cover at the annual Galaxy Unpacked event for foldables. It will be joined by the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Flip 8.
