Samsung's debut tri-fold smartphone is just around the corner. The brand recently gave us a glimpse into the design of the folding phone. Now, ahead of launch, the key details of the Galaxy Z TriFold have surfaced online.
Galaxy Z TriFold will feature Samsung's largest display on a phone
Tipster Evan Blass took to X in order to share the key details of the Galaxy Z TriFold. He claims that these are the confirmed details of the smartphone and are unlikely to change. It has revealed a massive 10-inch inner main display, while the single outer screen will share the Galaxy Z Fold 7's size at 6.5 inches. This makes this the first smartphone from Samsung to feature a tablet-sized display.

Also, just like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the triple-folding smartphone will also share remarkable thinness at 3.9 mm when opened. Blass claims that the smartphone will also have 4.0mm and 4.2mm thickness, depending on how it is opened.
Moreover, even with such an extreme sleek profile, Samsung has apparently managed to fit a 5,437mAh battery inside the Galaxy Z TriFold. It is very likely split into three halves to achieve this capacity. Aside from that, the post mentions a 200 MP main camera and 2600 and 1600 nits peak brightness for the cover and inner screen, respectively.

While Blass's post has not mentioned which processor, previous rumours suggest it will be powered by last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and will feature 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. Additionally, expect the Galaxy Z TriFold to ship with One UI 8.5 features, based on Android 16, out of the box.
That said, based on the fact that the Galaxy Z TriFold official launch is said to happen on December 5, 2025, we will only have to wait a few more weeks before Samsung's debut foldable goes official. So, stay tuned for that. Early rumours claim a $3,000 (approximately Rs 2,64,000) starting price for the Galaxy Z TriFold.
