The wait is finally over, as Samsung has now announced the release schedule for remaining One UI 8 eligible devices in India. Currently, the latest Android 16-based OS skin is only available to experience via the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 lineup.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series will get One UI 8 in October 2025
An official Samsung Members app notice has revealed the entire One UI 8 rollout timeline for all the Samsung smartphones which are due to receive the update. Starting with the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will receive One UI 8 in October 2025.

It will be followed by the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. Some other noteworthy devices receiving the update in October 2025 include the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy Tab S10 series and eligible Galaxy "A", "F" and "M" series smartphones.
For those who own devices like the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, the Galaxy Tab S10+, the Galaxy F05 and more will receive the One UI 8 update in November 2025.

As for what the Android-16 based OS skin brings, compared to One UI 7, there are not many substantial One UI 8 features on offer. Some of the noteworthy upgrades include an improved Now Bar and Now Brief experience, Call Captions, AI features like Audio Eraser and more.
