Tecno is apparently tired of hearing people complain about battery life. As the brand gears up to launch the Pova Curve 2 this week, the phone's battery details have been teased and the overall capacity could be the largest we've seen on slim smartphones.
Tecno Pova Curve 2 to get an 8,000mAh battery
After revealing the Tecno Pova Curve 2 launch date, the brand has teased an 8,000mAh battery for its upcoming smartphone. The brand has updated the phone's product page with a table comparing Curve 2's battery capacity, thickness and weight with other brands.
Besides the 8,000mAh battery, the page also reveals that the smartphone will be 7.42mm thick and weigh less than 200 grams. Tecno also claims that the smartphone can last for 2 days on a single charge.
As for the rest of the specifications, the Pova Curve 2 is rumoured to arrive with a Dimensity 7100 processor, dual rear cameras and Android 16 out of the box. There's no information on the phone's price just yet, but considering the Pova series targets the mid-range segment, it's expected to arrive as one of the best phones under Rs 20,000.
Besides the battery and thickness, the page highlights the phone's AI features, one of them being an AI-powered clear calling feature for clearer calls. We can also see the smartphone's curved display with an orange-accented power button alongside the volume rockers.
The Pova Curve 2 is all set to launch on February 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM. More information about the smartphone and its specifications should be unveiled soon, so stay tuned.
