Summary
- Judging by the specifications, the Dimensity 7100 AnTuTu benchmark scores could hover between 700,000 and 750,000.
- It's an octa-core chipset that uses ARMv8.2 cores, delivering better performance than the Dimensity 6400, but slightly below the Dimensity 7300.
- The first phone powered by the Dimensity 7100 could land as soon as January 2026 and is expected to be the Infinix Note Edge.
MediaTek has unveiled its next budget smartphone chipset, the Dimensity 7100, and it's expected to sit between the existing Dimensity 7200 and Dimensity 6400. While manufacturers are yet to use the chipset in a smartphone, we already have an idea about how it may perform based on its specifications. Here are the benchmarks and specs for the Dimensity 7100 processor.
Dimensity 7100: AnTuTu Score (Expected)
MediaTek has launched Dimensity 7100, but we don't have any official or tested AnTuTu scores at the moment. Although the processor's core specifications fall between the Dimensity 6400 and Dimensity 7300, we expect it to score in the ballpark of 700,000 – 750,000.

This is because, although Dimensity 7100 still uses the older ARMv8.2 cores (4x Cortex-A78 and 4x Cortex-A55), the performance cores are clocked 100 MHz (2.4 GHz) lower than the Dimensity 7300 (2.5 GHz). The GPU performance is expected to be slightly worse on the 7100 with the Arm Mali-G610 MC2 compared to the Arm Mali-G615 MC2 on the 7300.
To curb any confusion that you may have, here's the correct ranking of MediaTek's 6000 and 7000 series processors based on their specifications. It goes, Dimensity 7200 > Dimensity 7400 > Dimensity 7300 > Dimensity 7100 > Dimensity 6400. The 7100 is effectively a slightly slower 7300.
Dimensity 7100: Geekbench Score (Expected)
Geekbench 6 CPU | Dimensity 7100 |
|---|---|
Single-core | 900 |
Multi-core | 2,500 |
Again, while there's still no concrete scores of the Dimensity 7100's performance on Geekbench, considering the scores of its smaller and elder cousins, we expect the processor to score around 900 points in single-core and 2,500 points in multi-core.
This is because the Dimensity 7100 still uses older ARMv8.2 cores, as opposed to, say, ARMv9.2 found on the Dimensity 7200. ARMv8.2 is ancient and doesn't pack as much horsepower as the ARMv9.2 cores, and therefore, the resultant score is much less than the Dimensity 7200, which is found in the likes of Nothing Phone (2a).

And that's all we know about the Dimensity 7100 at the moment. The first smartphone to be powered by the processor could be the upcoming Infinix Note Edge, launching soon. To reiterate, it's a mid-range processor that might be capable of handling apps with relative ease. However, the GPU is pretty mediocre, which might not make it an ideal processor for gaming.
