Tecno Confirms Pova Curve 2 Launch Set for February 13

Tecno has been teasing the arrival of its next generation slim and curved smartphone, the Pova Curve 2 for quite a while. The brand has announced the launch date of the Curve 2 and it's scheduled to go official next week. The phone aims to deliver big on battery life without letting the users feel the bulk both in their hands and wallets.

Tecno Pova Curve 2 is launching next week

Tecno has confirmed that the Pova Curve 2 will be unveiled on February 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM, and it also revealed the phone's full design from the back. The brand has overhauled the smartphone significantly compared to the original Pova Curve, and is calling the new aesthetic Design 2.0.

The brand says it draws inspiration from spacecraft engineering. The rear features a triangular camera module, all sandwiched in a slim chassis with rounded corners for better ergonomics. One of the official posts also confirms the phone will arrive in three colourways – White, Black and Purple.

The Curve 2 also has a few transparent elements at the back, like a triangular window at the bottom-right, which illustrates where the SIM card goes and has visible screws that add to the cool factor. Besides, the brand has also confirmed that the smartphone will boast an orange-accented power button.

While specific details about the processors and other specifications remain under wraps, previous Tecno Pova Curve 2 rumours gave us a glimpse of what to expect. For starters, the phone could be powered by the Dimensity 7100 chipset and a mammoth 7,750mAh battery.

Beyond performance, the phone is expected to arrive with Android 16 based on HiOS out of the box. Infinix recently revealed XOS 16, and since both OSes share the same codebase, we expect Tecno to announce HiOS with the launch of Pova Curve 2.

With just over a week to go for the official launch, more details about the smartphone and its specifications should be revealed as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
