Tecno Pova Curve 2 India Launch Teased

Tecno has officially started the hype train for its next smartphone, the Pova Curve 2. The Tecno Pova Curve 2 has been teased to launch in India soon and is expected to be a mid-range offering with a focus on battery endurance and premium design while being easy on wallets.

The brand's official X handle posted a teaser, confirming that the Pova Curve 2 is coming soon to India. The post contains an image showing an X-ray-like image of the smartphone from the sides, highlighting the curved edges along with the text "Out of this world" and Pova Curve 2 5G.

While Tecno hasn't revealed the Pova Curve 2 specs, the smartphone's appearance on Google Play Console (courtesy of The Tech Outlook) suggests it could be powered by a Dimensity 7100 processor backed by 12 GB RAM. The leaks also note that the phone could arrive with the latest Android 16 features out of the box.

However, another main highlight of the phone is expected to be the battery. The Pova Curve 2 is rumoured to pack a mammoth 7,750mAh battery, paired with an FHD+ display. Despite the massive battery, we expect it to be pretty slim, just like the original Pova Curve 5G.

For those unaware, the original Pova Curve arrived with a 6.78-inch display with Dimensity 7300 and a 64 MP primary camera in the sub Rs 16,000 segment. If the rumoured specifications stand, the Pova Curve 2 could be a downgrade from the original Curve, which could be due to the ongoing RAM crisis.

More information about the phone's potential release date, specifications and pricing should be revealed as we inch closer to the launch. Considering the brand has already started teasing the phone, we expect the Curve 2 to launch in the next few months. Stay tuned!
