Vivo has officially confirmed that it's launching a Vivo S2 FE in India, which could be a toned-down variant of the Vivo S2 which debuted earlier this year. However, it doesn't look anything like its sibling.
Vivo S2 FE India Launch Date Announced
A dedicated Flipkart microsite has gone live, revealing that the Vivo S2 FE will launch in India on October 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Thanks to the microsite, we also get a good glimpse of the phone's design, and unlike the Vivo S2, it doesn't have that iPhone Air-like edge-to-edge camera module.
Instead, the phone will come with a squircle camera module that houses what appears to be two cameras and an LED flash. Upon increasing the brightness of the image a bit, we get to see the "50 MP" branding on the module clearly, which confirms the main camera's megapixel count.
The phone will arrive in a green finish and we see the volume rockers and power button on the right side of its frame. This design falls in line with the Vivo S2 FE design that leaked a while back. Leaks also suggest that the phone could come in a black and white colourway.
However, no other details about the Vivo S2 FE have been officially revealed at the time of writing. But thanks to leaks and reports, we know a few other details.

Vivo S2 FE Specifications Leaked
As per tipster Ahsan Kharbai on X, the Vivo S2 FE could feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 7300e 5G chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
For those unaware, the Dimensity 7300e is an "Energy" variant of the regular Dimensity 7300, focusing on delivering better battery optimisation.
In terms of optics, the phone could sport a 50 MP IMX852 primary rear camera sensor and a 2 MP lens (which could be a depth sensor). At the front, there could be a 32 MP selfie shooter.
A massive 10,000mAh battery is said to fuel the Vivo S2 FE, coupled with 44W fast-charging support. The phone is also said to be quite durable, with IP68 and IP69 ratings. For security, it could use an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Vivo S2 FE box price could be set at Rs 39,999 for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. In that case, expect the selling price of the phone to be set between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000.
