Vivo is gearing up to finally launch its first T5 series smartphone in India, starting with the budget Vivo T5x 5G. The brand just started teasing the Vivo T5x 5G India launch and now, ahead of it, the smartphone's key specifications and pricing have already surfaced online. Well, it looks like the T5x will pack quite the upgrades in comparison to its predecessor.
Vivo T5x 5G Specifications (Leaked)
The details arrive courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar, who shared most of the key specifications of the Vivo T5x 5G. As per his post, the upcoming phone will feature a 7,200mAh battery and support 44W fast USB-C charging. If true, this will bring a 700mAh increase in capacity when compared to the 6,500mAh unit powering its predecessor, the Vivo T4x 5G.
It will reportedly draw its power from the Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor (an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7400 chipset) and will run OriginOS 6 update based on Android 16 out of the box. This falls in line with the 1 million AnTuTu score that the Vivo T5x 5G India teaser mentioned. It brings a minor upgrade over the T4x's Dimensity 7300 chipset.
Moreover, Brar's post mentions a 50 MP Sony IMX852 camera sensor and 4K video recording support for Vivo T5x 5G. Although he has not explicitly mentioned, we believe the post is talking about the main camera. It is also unclear if the phone will support 60 FPS recording or will be limited to just 4K @ 30 FPS.
Aside from that, it looks like Vivo is doubling down on durability with a dual IP68 +IP69 rating. It will also ship with the AI productivity suite, which recently debuted with the iQOO 15R in India.
Vivo T5x 5G Price in India (Leaked)
Lastly, Brar's post mentions a starting price of under Rs 20,000 for the Vivo T5x 5G. If true, this will bring an approximate Rs 6,000 price hike in comparison to the Vivo T4x's Rs 13,999 starting price. The topmost variant could cost Rs 23,000 and ship with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. At launch, the Vivo T5x 5G will reportedly be sold in Cyber Green and Star White colourways.
That said, since none of these details has been officially confirmed, take them with a pinch of salt. With an expected launch timeline of mid March 2026, we will just have to wait for a few more weeks to know the confirmed details and pricing of Vivo T5x 5G in India.
