The Poco X7 Pro is an all rounded offering which knocks it out of the part with its performance, battery and display quality. However, the phone misses the mark with the software and delivers a not-so-great camera experience. If you’re okay with that, this is a value-for-money in the segment

The K13 Turbo is Oppo’s attempt at a budget gaming smartphone. With a physical fan on board, the phone performs similarly with the fan turned on or off. The cameras click balanced photos but however, it misses out on a extra camera. The phone boasts a day long battery life and the display is bright enough outdoors and produce punchy colors, but there are other more well-rounded options you can explore.

The Realme GT 7T is a performance-centric phone, with a responsive display, big SiC battery and pretty quick charging. The design also looks quite good but the phone can get warm easily during demanding tasks. While the main camera is quite good, if you want superior imaging, you may be hard-pressed to look at better options in the segment

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is easily the strongest Core Edition phone yet, packing a massive battery, a super bright AMOLED display, a powerful Dimensity processor, good cameras, and long-term software support. All of this at a starting price of Rs 24,999 makes it a solid recommendation for the price.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a well-rounded phone which looks and feels premium, delivers excellent everyday performance, has a large, bright display, the cameras perform reliably across the board, and the battery easily lasts a full day. The software experience on Hello UI is decent, but the flavour of Android 16 is missing. It's a near perfect phone under Rs 30,000 that offers almost a flagship level experience.

The Realme P3 Ultra is the kind of mid-range phone that ticks all the boxes and nails the essentials with surprising finesse. The cameras are reliable, software is mature and performance is amazing for the price. The stunning quad-curved AMOLED is an absolute delight, and all of this is wrapped up in a body that feels more expensive than it actually is. Sure, there's some bloatware and minor quirks, but they fade fast once you start using the phone daily. After a week with it, I can confidently say that the Realme P3 Ultra is just the perfect blend for most people.

Let’s no forget the large and attractive AMOLED display which is bright and brings the quad-curved aesthetic. Yes, it’s the not best performing phone for the price but it’s reliable and you’ll not face any issues in day-to-day use.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is a good mid-range phone that gets the basics right. It comes with an eye-catching design, a bright 144Hz curved display and a massive battery that can last two days. The phone offers a smooth everyday performance but it is not great at gaming. While the cameras and software aren’t the strongest in the segment, it is still a decent mid-ranger to pick in 2026 if you are coming from an older phone.

The Realme P4 Pro offers excellent value with a slim design that is comfortable to hold and a sharp display with high refresh rate and high brightness in direct sunlight. It also brings well-rounded performance, a decent camera, and long lasting battery life. However, there is bloatware in the software which hampers the experience and the speakers sound flat. Overall, it is worth recommending at this price point.
