Vivo has launched its latest premium mid-range lineup in India with the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite. We already have a dedicated Vivo V70 Elite launch copy, so we'll focus on the regular V70 here. Just like its bigger sibling, the Vivo V70 arrives with ZEISS-tuned optics, a large battery and a host of AI features.

Vivo V70 Specifications and Features

The Vivo V70 sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K Ultra Clear flat OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness. The panel supports 10.7 billion colours and comes with what Vivo claims is the narrowest side bezel in its class at 1.25 mm, all wrapped up in an aerospace-grade aluminium frame of just 7.59 mm

Under the hood sits the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. On the software side up, the phone runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, with a promise of four years of major OS updates and six years of security patches.

Cameras are a core focus and the Vivo V70's ZEISS-backed system includes a 50 MP Sony LYT-700V main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP Sony IMX882 3x telephoto sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide shooter. Meanwhile, at the front, there's a 50 MP "Group Selfie" camera with an impressive 92° FOV and autofocus support.

The Vivo V70 emphasises portrait creativity with ZEISS Multifocal Portrait modes covering focal lengths from 23 mm to 100 mm and signature bokeh styles like Distagon, Biotar, Sonnar and Planar. The phone can also capture 4K @ 60 FPS videos.
