Vivo X200T Could Launch in India by End of January with Flagship Dimensity Chip

Despite the Vivo X200 series being almost a year old, it's not dying anytime soon, as Vivo could soon launch a new smartphone in the same series. The Vivo X200T could reportedly launch soon in India in January 2026. It's expected to be a sub-flagship smartphone with aggressive pricing.

Vivo X200T Launch Timeline Tipped

According to industry insider Yogesh Brar, Vivo may launch the X200T in the last week of January 2026. The brand may position it as a fairly premium smartphone and price it aggressively. The Vivo X200T was spotted on BIS bearing the SKU number V2561 alongside the Vivo X300 FE, suggesting an imminent India launch.

Adding to this, Yogesh states that the Vivo X200T could arrive in two colours and a flagship Dimensity chipset. It's unlikely that it will boast the latest Dimensity 9500s chipset that MediaTek is launching soon. Instead, the recent Vivo X200T leak suggests it could feature a Dimensity 9400 Plus instead.

As for the specifications, the Vivo X200T is expected to adopt a hybrid design. Rumours also suggest a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a large battery capacity. While the exact battery capacity is still unknown, we expect it to be similar to the Vivo X200 Pro, if not slightly larger.

Optics-wise, the X200T could bring the same Zeiss-branded triple 50 MP camera setup as the Vivo X200 and X300 series. Besides, it will likely ship with the latest OriginOS 6 features based on Android 16, with a promise of 5 years of major Android updates. The smartphone could also boast 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging

As for its potential launch date, the tipster notes it could happen sometime in January 2026, or by the end of it. Since the brand has already launched the Vivo X300 series, the X200T is expected to be similar to the standard X200 series in most aspects. More details and specifications about the smartphone should surface as we inch closer to launch.
