The Vivo Y600i has launched in China as the third phone in the lineup, sitting alongside the Y600 Pro and Y600 Turbo. Just like its more premium siblings, the Y600i also packs a big battery, but blends it with more budget-friendly specs and a lower price tag.
Vivo Y600i Specifications and Features
Talking about the display first, the Vivo Y600i features a 6.87-inch HD+ (1592 x 720 pixels) LCD panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This screen also offers an HBM of up to 1,300 nits and a pixel density of 255 PPI. It's also backed by True DC "Flicker-free dimming" and TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection.
For binge-watching your favourite shows, there's a single bottom-firing speaker to use. There's no 3.5mm headphone jack, though, so you will have to use USB-C earphones through the USB-C 2.0 port.
Fueling the phone is a massive 8,000mAh battery, which Vivo claims can deliver 16 hours of constant navigation and up to 25 hours of short-video playback. Although this is a massive battery capacity, it is the lowest in the lineup. For context, the Vivo Y600 Pro packs a 10,200mAh cell, while the Vivo Y600 Turbo uses a 9,020mAh unit.
As for charging, the Vivo Y600i also 44W fast charging and reverse wired charging support.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage (expandable up to 2 TB via a microSD card slot).
On the software front, the phone runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. The phone offers some useful AI features for the elderly, which include an AI anti-fraud feature, an AI scam alert and the ability for family members to hang up remotely.
For photos and videos, the Vivo Y600i sports a single 50 MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and no image stabilisation. At the front, there's an 8 MP front camera with an f/2.05 aperture.
There's a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1, LDAC and GLONASS support.

The Vivo Y600i price is set at 1,999 Chinese yuan (approx. Rs 28,500) for its single 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant. The phone comes in Midnight Black, Sky Blue and Stardust colourways.
As for availability, it will be up for purchase in China from September 30, 2026. However, since its siblings didn't make it to India and global markets, chances are the Y600i won't either. Even if it does, it may be rebranded with some other name.
