Foldables are getting wider, and Xiaomi wants to be ahead of the curve. The new Xiaomi 18 Fold has launched in China with a passport-style design, bringing a 5.02mm thin body, the new Xring O3 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery.
Xiaomi 18 Fold Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi 18 Fold brings a more ergonomic, wider folding profile. The chassis is made of aluminium, while the back is made of glass. The smartphone is built around a redesigned keel hinge, and the chassis measures just 5.02mm unfolded (10.68mm folded), weighing 219 grams.

The smartphone's exterior carries a 5.38-inch AMOLED cover screen protected by Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0. Unfolding the device reveals a 7.58-inch AMOLED made using a double-layer Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). Both are 120 Hz panels and reach 4,000 nits of peak brightness with full DC dimming.
Under the hood, the phone marks the debut of the Xring O3 processor. Fabricated on TSMC's 3nm process, it features a 10-core CPU with an all-large-core setup clocked up to 4.35 GHz and is paired with a 16-core G2-Ultra NX graphics unit.

Complementing the performance is up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X/ LPDDR6 RAM (highest tier only) and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Helping keep operations smooth is Xiaomi's HyperOS 4, based on Android 17. The release brings a Liquid Glass-like design, new Lock Screen Customisations, Stacked Widgets and enhanced AI capabilities.
Optics-wise, there's a 200 MP f/1.7 Leica Summilux main camera with OIS. It is accompanied by a 50 MP f/2.8 periscope telephoto sensor with OIS and a 50 MP f/2.4 ultrawide lens. The front cover and internal screens house 16 MP f/2.2 cameras for selfies and video calls.

Fueling the internals is a 6,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Connectivity-wise, the phone comes with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, Ultra Wideband and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port for charging and display output.
