A Xiaomi 18 Pro Geekbench listing gives us our first look at the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6's performance. Beyond showcasing the single- and multi-core performance, the benchmark also reveals the GPU, the amount of RAM the phone has and the software version.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Boasts an Inferior GPU
Spotted on Geekbench 7 under the device model number Xiaomi M610BB, the Xiaomi 18 Pro boasts the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor. The smartphone scores 3,220 points in single-core and 9,646 points in multi-core.
The benchmark reveals the processor's core setup, which is similar to its Extreme sibling. There's a 3+3+2 cluster with a maximum core clock speed of 5.01 GHz. However, the strings attached reveal the GPU to be the Adreno 845.
Additionally, the phone boasts Android 17, likely running HyperOS 4, and is powered by 16 GB of RAM. The latter suggests this is Xiaomi 18 Pro's top-of-the-line storage variant, since a recent Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Geekbench result highlighted the phone with 12 GB of RAM.
Speaking of which, despite the higher RAM, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 appears to be significantly behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. We're talking about a 21% difference in multi-core and a 10% difference in single-core scores.
However, it's worth noting that there were a few runs where the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max performed close to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. Therefore, to draw a clear conclusion, we will have to wait for more Geekbench scores to surface.
Besides, Adreno 845 is expected to be significantly behind Adreno 850. While we do have the OpenCL score for Adreno 850, the same for Adreno 845 has yet to surface. For those unaware, the Adreno 850 scored a whopping 26,210 points.
Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are expected to launch later this month and will supposedly be the first smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
More information about their specifications should be revealed as we inch closer to launch during the Snapdragon Summit September 2026 event, so stay tuned.
