The next-gen flagship Xiaomi 18 series is due to launch in China this month. Ahead of that, the Geekbench 7 listing of the top-tier Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has emerged online, giving us a good idea of the firepower it packs.
First spotted by tipster Anvin on X, the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has appeared on Geekbench 7 with the Xiaomi M1544F model number. The phone manages to hit a single-core score of 3,582 points and a multi-core score of 12,247 points.
Moreover, the smartphone has achieved 26,210 points in the OpenCL score and 29,934 points in the Vulkan score. The listings also reveal 12 GB of RAM and Android 17, likely with HyperOS 4 features.

As for the processor, the core CPU architecture includes a 3 + 3 + 2 CPU cluster, with 3x cores clocked at 3.74 GHz, 3x cores clocked at 4.03 GHz and 2x cores clocked at 5.11 GHz. This points to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 powering the smartphone, with the Adreno 850 GPU.
Interestingly, the performance on the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max seems to be on the higher side compared to the iQOO 16 Geekbench result, which is also supposed to be running the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC.
Xiaomi Could Adopt Split-Chip Strategy for Xiaomi 18 Series
Aside from the firepower the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will pack, the Geekbench listing does not shed light on anything new. Based on previous leaks, it looks like the Xiaomi 18 series will follow a split-chip strategy.
Reports suggest that Xiaomi plans to abandon its long-running one-chipset-for-all approach, giving the standard Xiaomi 18 the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 while reserving the Pro variant for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the 18 Pro Max. I mean, the RAM crisis has been harsh on everyone and this seems like an understandable change of strategy in response to that.
Aside from that, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has been tipped with a 6.9-inch 2K display, dual 200 MP rear cameras and an 8,000mAh battery with 100W charging. That said, the Snapdragon Summit event is set for September 22, 2026, and we should know the processor of choice for the Xiaomi 18 series after that. So, stay tuned.
