The Xiaomi Pad 8 series is expected to go official in China soon and ahead of launch, the standard Pad 8 has made an appearance on Geekbench. From the looks of it, the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.
First spotted by tipster @yabhishekhd on X, the Xiaomi Pad 8 has appeared on Geekbench 6.5.0 with the model number Xiaomi 25097RP43C. The upcoming tablet from Xiaomi manages to score 1,984 points in Geekbench's single-core test and 6,323 points in the multi-core.

Additionally, the Geekbench also reveals the core setup of the chipset powering the device – two cores clocked at 2.02 GHz, two cores clocked at 2.80 GHz, three cores clocked at 3.01 GHz and one core clocked at 3.21 GHz.
Besides, the tipster also dug deeper to uncover the Adreno 825 GPU. All of these strongly suggest that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset could be powering the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 8. Apart from this, the Geekbench listing also reveals that the tablet will be running on Android 16 and pack 12 GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, very recently, the brand confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro processor is the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Xiaomi Pad 8 series launch date in China has reportedly been set for September 2025-end, which is almost here.
