Google has launched the Pixel 11 series at its Made by Google event and the two phones most buyers will compare are the Pixel 11 and the Pixel 11 Pro. The Pixel 11 Pro shares the same footprint at 152.7 x 71.9 x 8.4mm and 204 grams, so it's a bit thinner but slightly heavier than the standard model. It's available in Canyon, Fog, Olive and a new all-matte Obsidian colour.
The headline change is Pixel HiLight, which is a multi-colour light on the back that lights up for notifications and glows in a different pattern when Gemini is thinking. It is a Pro-only feature, so the standard Pixel 11 misses out on it.
Both phones are IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and use Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, but Google calls the Pro the most durable Pixel Pro yet and its Super Actua display is more scratch resistant. So the design round goes to the Pro for its premium matte finish and HiLight, though the Pixel 11 is the lighter phone in hand.

As far as the chip is concerned, there is no difference between the two phones, except that the Pixel 11 Pro features a vapour chamber, which will help the chipset under sustained load. To conclude, the Pixel 11 Pro is the better phone, and it's not particularly close. You get a sharper and brighter LTPO display, an upgraded camera system with 120x Pro Zoom and a 42MP selfie camera, up to 16GB of RAM and HiLight on the back. If you take images a lot, zoom often or simply want the best Pixel experience, the Pixel 11 Pro is worth the extra money.
That said, the Pixel 11 is the smarter value buy for most people. It runs the same Tensor G6 chipset, gets the same 7 years of updates and Gemini features, keeps a proper 5x telephoto and even packs a slightly bigger battery, all for Rs 30,000 less.
