The next-generation Google Pixel 11 series launch date is confirmed for August 12, 2026. Now, the brand has released the first teaser of the upcoming phones, teasing the much-awaited Pixel Glow feature.
Google Teases Pixel 11 with Pixel Glow Light
The official Google Pixel Store now teases the arrival of the Pixel 11 series, which is expected to include the Google Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Additionally, the homepage of the website shows off one of the upcoming Pixel phones with the highly rumoured Pixel Glow light feature.
As is evident from the above image, a new circular multi-colour LED light has taken the place of the temperature sensor and the dual-tone LED flash that were present on the Pixel 10 series. The new implementation is expected to act as a notification and call indicator and could also light up when using Gemini Intelligence features.
This is similar to the Glowbar light on the upcoming Googlebook laptop, which was showcased at Google I/O 2026. However, Google has not revealed details as to how exactly the Pixel Glow will work on the Pixel 11 series. It is also not confirmed if this new LED light will be called the "Pixel Glow" or something else.
Moreover, the website has also confirmed that pre-orders for the Pixel 11 lineup will begin on the launch day itself, which is August 12, 2026.

Pixel 11 Series Leaked Specifications
While Google has teased the new Pixel Glow light for the upcoming Pixel phones, its key specifications remain under wraps. Thankfully, we know some details about the lineup, courtesy of a recent Pixel 11 series specs leak.
Starting with the standard Pixel 11, the phone is expected to retain the 6.3-inch 120 Hz LTPS OLED display of its predecessor and come with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The phone is also tipped to feature a new 50 MP main camera and a downgraded battery experience with a 4,840mAh capacity, compared to the Pixel 10's 4,970mAh cell capacity.
Also, thanks to a recent Pixel 11 series colours and variants leak, we also know that the smartphone will be sold in Midnight, Fuchsia and Moss colourways and could start from $899 (approximately Rs 85,000) for the 256 GB model.
As for the Pixel 11 Pro, it is expected to arrive with a 6.3-inch 1.5K 120 Hz LTPO OLED display and sport 3,6,00 nits of peak brightness. The phone is tipped to bring an improved telephoto camera and a battery capacity of 4,707mAh. Leaked colourways for the phone include Pine, Sterling, Light Fog and Dune, and the starting price could be $1,099 (approximately Rs 1,06,000) for the 256 GB variant.

The bigger sibling, the Pixel 11 Pro XL, is expected to carry over most of the Pixel 11 Pro specs, but top them up with a bigger 6.8-inch display and a larger 5,000mAh battery. This phone will also share the Pixel 11 Pro's colour options and could start from $1,299 (approximately Rs 1,25,000).
Lastly, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is rumoured to pack a 3,500-nit 8-inch 120 Hz LTPO OLED inner display alongside a 3,600-nit 6.4-inch 120 HZ LTPS OLED cover screen. The foldable could also pack a 4,658mAh battery and start from $1,899 (approximately Rs 1,83,000). Colour options could include Midnight and Pine.
