With just weeks to go before its August 12 launch, the Google Pixel 11 series has cleared FCC certification. The listings quietly reveal that MediaTek is now powering the modems instead of Samsung's Exynos.

Five Pixel 11 Models Spotted in FCC Filings

The latest FCC listings spotted by Droidlife outline five distinct Pixel 11 series identifiers. They are GPQQ7, GUJ0N, G7SWN, GBC0H, and G4HCD. This comes after the Pixel 11 Pro Fold FCC listing recently surfaced online with the GZDQ6 model number.

Now, while the listings don't reveal any hardware specifications, they do reveal that the phones now use a MediaTek modem. This falls in line with previous leaks suggesting Google was ditching Samsung Exynos modems for MediaTek.

The regulator documents also provide an overview of the connectivity of the lineup, confirming satellite connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Wireless Charging (WPC) and Bluetooth. However, differences in specific band support offer clues regarding which model number corresponds to which smartphone.

For starters, the lack of UWB and Thread protocol in models GPQQ7 and GUJ0N suggests these could be the standard Pixel 11. In comparison, the models G7SWN, GBC0H and G4HCD feature both UWB and Thread connectivity, suggesting they could be the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL. Besides, the mmWave 5G support is restricted to GPQQ7, G7SWN and GBC0H units.

Google Pixel 11 Series: What to Expect?

While the FCC listings don't reveal much, a very recent accidental Google Pixel 11 series Amazon listing revealed the colourways and variants of the upcoming phones. We know that the next-generation Pixel phones will all sport 12 GB of RAM, paired with 256 GB and 512 GB options.

In addition, we know that the Google Pixel 11 could arrive in Midnight, Fuchsia and Moss colourways. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL could come in Pine, Sterling, Light Fog and Dune options. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold could arrive in only Midnight and Pine colour options.

Before that, the Google Pixel 11 series specifications leaked as well and all the phones could be powered by the Tensor G6 processor, which is based on TSMC's 2nm process. The Pixel 11 could feature a 6.3-inch 120Hz LTPS OLED display (3,100 nits), 8/12GB RAM, a 4,840mAh battery, and a new 50MP main camera.

Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro could step things up to a 6.3-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED (3,600 nits), 12/16GB RAM, a 4,707mAh battery, and improved main/telephoto sensors. The Pro XL could basically be the same as the Pro but with a larger 6.8-inch display and a 5,000mAh battery.

Finally, the Pro Fold may round things out with an 8-inch LTPO inner display, 6.4-inch LTPS outer display, a 4,658mAh battery, a new main sensor, and 12/16GB RAM.

That said, the Google Pixel 11 launch date is set for August 12, 2026, and more concrete information about the phones should surface as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
