Vivo has launched OriginOS 6, and it will soon be available on Vivo and iQOO devices across the world. The brand is ditching Funtouch OS for OriginOS in India, which makes a lot of devices currently running Funtouch OS eligible for OriginOS 6. However, if you're confused about the eligibility of your device, here are all the OriginOS 6 eligible devices that will get the update.

OrginOS 6 eligible devices

Announced on October 15, 2025, globally, OriginOS 6 brings new features including a revamped home screen, new lockscreen customisations and more. Vivo and iQOO have already opened up OriginOS 6 Preview registrations for a handful of devices, including the Vivo X200 and iQOO 13.

Vivo has also highlighted the rollout timeline of the update, which will begin in November and last till the first half of 2026. Vivo and iQOO's latest flagship devices will be the first to receive the update, followed by older flagships like the Vivo X100 and iQOO 12, upper mid-range devices and budget devices.

Vivo promises three years of major Android updates to its X Fold series. The Vivo X Fold 5 is the latest foldable in Vivo's lineup, and it will be the first to get the OriginOS 6 update in November 2025.

Vivo promises three major OS updates for its X series of devices. This makes all the Vivo X series devices launched in the last three years eligible for the Android 16-based OriginOS 6 update. With the iQOO 12, the company bumped up its update promise to four years of major updates. iQOO's upper-mid-range offerings, like the Neo series, are promised three years of updates, whereas its budget Z series is promised two years of updates. OriginOS 6 expected features

 Vivo has already teased some of its key features, including the new and improved Atomic Island, revamped user interface and new AI features. Here's a quick rundown of all the OriginOS 6 features:.

  • Widget Stacking on Vivo's Origin OS will allow you to stack widgets on your home screen.
  • Notification Stacking stacks all the incoming notifications and presents them in a cleaner fashion.
  • Separate Notifications and Quick Settings panels will let you have more quick settings toggles and see more notifications
  • Advanced Protection mode in Android 16 disables a few Android features that can be exploited by bad actors.
  • Material 3 Expressive is expected to change the UI elements across apps, but OriginOS could retain the current look and feel.

And those are all the OriginOS 6-eligible devices. To reiterate, the Vivo X Fold and X series devices will receive the update in November 2025, followed by last generation flagships in December. The rollout will then expand to Vivo and iQOO's sub-flagship and upper mid-range devices in December 2025, followed by budget devices in the first half of 2026.
