Acer just announced a bunch of new Android tablets at the annual Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) 2026 event in Berlin. The Acer Iconia X14 and Iconia X16 expand the "Iconia X Kickstand series" lineup with specs like OLED displays, built-in stands and more.
Acer Iconia X14 and Iconia X16 Specifications and Features
Both the Iconia X14 and Iconia X16 share similar specs, with subtle differences like the display. For instance, both Android tablets are equipped with a WQXGA 60 Hz OLED display in the 16:10 aspect ratio.
The only difference between them is the screen size and peak brightness. The Iconia X14 features a 14-inch display with up to 400 nits of peak brightness, whereas the Iconia X16 gets a 16-inch panel with up to 300 nits of peak brightness.
Both tablets are designed to provide an immersive viewing experience. Hence, both tablets feature a built-in kickstand at the back that can help users either prop the tablets vertically or horizontally. Acer has also revealed accessory support for the Iconia X14 and Iconia X16, such as a keyboard case and an Active Stylus.
Apart from this, both the X14 and the X16 feature a quad stereo speaker setup for superior audio output. They even feature a built-in microphone array to help users take calls, capture audio, attend meetings and more.
Moving on, in terms of performance, both tablets feature the budget MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Both models bring support for a microSD card slot. Acer has confirmed that the Iconia X14 and Iconia X16 will ship with Android 16 out of the box.
However, there is no word on software support. In terms of battery, both tablets bring an 8,000mAh cell with support for USB-C 2.0 PD charging and are rated to last for up to 10 hours of battery life.
Calls and meetings are handled by a 5 MP front-facing camera. Meanwhile, there is an 8 MP sensor at the back of the tablets. As for the rest, the Iconia X14 and Iconia X16 bring Wi-Fi 5 and DisplayPort output support to act as an external screen.
Both the Iconia X14 and Iconia X16 will arrive in the USA by Q4 2026. Asus has not revealed the pricing for the tablets yet. There is also no word on their availability in other markets like India. We should know more in the coming months, so stay tuned.
