Lava kicks off the week with the Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G, launching in India on August 24 at 12:00 PM IST via Flipkart. The phone joins the existing Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G as the most premium option in the lineup.

A teaser video shows a squircle camera module bearing a striking resemblance to the Realme 16 Pro, and the phone is confirmed to arrive in black and white colourways. Lava hasn't revealed specifications yet, though going by the "Pro" naming, expect a beefed-up version of the standard Lava Virat V1 5G.

Fire-Boltt's new smartphone brand, boltt, makes its debut on August 25, 2026, with the Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo 4G, sold exclusively via Flipkart under the Flipkart Unique program.

Both Boltt phones share an identical 6.79-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 600 nits of peak brightness and 10-point capacitive touch support. They also share a 6,000mAh battery, though the Ace 5G additionally supports 18W fast charging with a bundled charger.

The two phones differ mainly in connectivity and cameras, with the Ace 5G supporting 5G and packing a 64 MP AI main camera, while the Evo 4G sticks to 4G with a 50 MP AI main camera. Both get an 8 MP AI selfie camera and Google's Gemini-powered tools, including Circle to Search and Google Lens.

Pricing hasn't been confirmed, though both phones are expected to fall between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000.

Also launching on August 25, 2026, is the Sony Xperia 10 VIII. A leaked Sony Xperia 10 VIII image shows the phone's back panel in a white finish with a subtle green tint, retaining a design that's nearly identical to last year's Sony Xperia 10 VII, including its flat backplate, horizontal camera bar and side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button.

A Geekbench listing has also pointed to a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and Android 16 out of the box, suggesting a fairly conservative update on paper.

The Realme P4s 5G India launch is scheduled for August 26 at 12:00 PM IST via Flipkart. The phone is confirmed to feature a Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset with a dedicated HyperVision+ AI chipset

The Realme P4s 5G is also confirmed to feature a 144 Hz 1.5K AMOLED display using Samsung's M14 panel with 6,500 nits of peak brightness. It will also feature a 50 MP OIS main camera alongside an 8 MP ultrawide lens.

It packs an 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and carries IP69 + IP68 + IP66 ratings. Pricing is expected to fall between Rs 35,000 and Rs 45,000.

5. Samsung Galaxy S26 FE

Samsung's Galaxy Event August 2026 is set for August 27 at 5:30 PM IST, widely expected to mark the debut of the Galaxy S26 FE.

While Samsung hasn't revealed the Galaxy S26 FE specs, leaked promotional images point to an Exynos 2500 chipset and a 6.7-inch 120 Hz Full HD+ display. Additionally, the phone could feature a 50 MP main camera with a 12 MP ultrawide and 8 MP telephoto lens, and a 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging.

The phone is also tipped to carry over features like Horizon Lock, Circle to Search, and My FanCam from the standard Galaxy S26 series.

6. Lava Bold N4 Lite

Rounding off the week is the Lava Bold N4 Lite India launch, also launching on August 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST, via Amazon India.

The Lava Bold N4 Lite succeeds the Lava Bold N2 Lite and is confirmed to carry MIL-STD-810H durability, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a geometric back panel design.

Expect a 90 Hz LCD display, a budget Unisoc chipset, a 13 MP main camera, and a 6,000mAh battery, likely priced under Rs 15,000 given the ongoing RAM crisis.

With six launches packed into a single week spanning India and global markets, expect more concrete pricing and specification details to trickle in as each date approaches.

Apart from this, the Vivo T5 5G India launch was teased recently, so we may get an exact launch date this week. Moreover, the Nothing OS 5.0 launch is confirmed for August 25, 2026, so that's something to look forward to as well.
