The week kicks off with the Redmi Note 17 Pro series launch, which Redmi has confirmed will land in India on September 15, 2026, via a dedicated Amazon microsite. The lineup is expected to include the Redmi Note 17 Pro and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max

Backed by the tagline "The mAhster of strength," the series is confirmed to pack a massive 10,000mAh battery, which Redmi claims can last over four days on light usage. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max gets the full 10,000mAh cell, while the standard Pro is expected to settle for a 9,000mAh unit instead.

That would make Redmi only the second brand to cross the 10,000mAh mark, after the Realme P4 Power's 10,001mAh battery. Charging speeds are expected to differ too, with the Redmi Note 17 Pro tipped for 67W wired charging and the Pro Max going up to 100W, alongside 22.5W reverse wired charging on both.

The microsite has also revealed the design, showing off a squircle camera module with a 50 MP main sensor, a secondary lens and an LED flash. The standard Note 17 Pro is shown in a Cloudy Blue finish and the Pro Max in Sunset Yellow.

Specifications aren't fully official yet, but if the series mirrors its Chinese counterpart, expect a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset and a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display on the Pro Max, with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 SoC likely powering the standard Pro. Both phones could also come with an IP68/69 rating.

Next up is the Oppo K14 Lite launch date in India, which is confirmed for September 16, 2026. The phone will go on sale via Flipkart. If the design and specs feel familiar, that's because the K14 Lite is essentially a rebranded Oppo A6c, borrowing its chassis, hardware and general layout.

The standout feature is a hefty 7,000mAh battery, paired with a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display running at 120 Hz. Oppo is backing the phone with 3-year smoothness protection and a 6-year battery durability promise. The Oppo K14 Lite will also sport an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and a "Splash Touch" feature that lets the display respond to touch even with wet or oily hands.

On the imaging side, the Oppo K14 Lite gets a 13 MP main camera with AI Eraser, Face Retouch, Night Mode, and Portrait Mode support. It's powered by an octa-core chipset, paired with 4 GB of RAM, which is expandable up to 8 GB via virtual RAM.

While unconfirmed, expect a Unisoc T7250 processor, 15W charging and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, given the phone's A6c roots. Connectivity should include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, and a USB-C 2.0 port.

The Oppo K14 Lite price in India could be set under Rs 20,000, since the regular Oppo K14 currently starts at Rs 23,999.

Rounding out the week is the Lava Bold N4 Pro India launch, which is scheduled for September 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. This is the same day the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE also goes on sale in the country. The phone will be sold exclusively via Amazon, continuing Lava's usual pattern with its N-series lineup.

Likely positioned as a step up from the Lava Bold N4 Lite, the Bold N4 Pro's design looks close to the Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G and it's teased to arrive in similar Blue and Silver colourways as the Lite variant. A closer look at the listing also reveals an LED flash and "50 MP AI main camera" branding on the rear panel, giving away at least one part of its camera setup.

Confirmed specs so far include a 6,000mAh battery, along with Lava's promise of a smooth multitasking experience and solid durability. Given that it could be a modest upgrade over the entry-level Bold N4 Lite, the Lava Bold N4 Pro's India price could fall somewhere between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.

Expect more brands to reveal the launch dates of their upcoming phones this week in September 2026. We already know that the Mivi One 5G launch date in India is set for later this month. Meanwhile, the AI+ Nova 2 Power is also coming soon to the country. So, stay tuned for all the updates.
