September 2026 has been a busy one for Apple as the new iPhone 18 series dropped, along with the first foldable iPhone Duo and the stable iOS 27 rollout to eligible iPhones. However, it looks like the launch season is far from over for the Cupertino brand, as a new report outlines as many as 16 new products lined up till the first half of 2027.
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has published a new report, outlining 16 new hardware products that Apple has allegedly lined up for launch in the remainder of 2026 and in the first half of 2027. Before this year ends, the Cupertino brand is expected to launch the following products:
- HomePod Mini with Siri AI
- Apple TV with Siri AI
- Apple Home Hub tablet
- Touchscreen MacBook Pro
- 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6
- iMac with M6
- iPad Mini with OLED display
Gurman has not shared the list in any particular order, meaning that these products might launch together or separately. Also, three things stand out in the report.
First is the fact that Apple is going to release new home gadgets with Siri AI, meaning that the reformed Siri experience extends well beyond Apple iPhones, across all verticals of Apple's hardware portfolio.
Secondly, a touchscreen MacBook will be a first for Apple. The Cupertino brand has publicly resisted touchscreen Macs for over a decade, arguing that reaching across to a vertical display is ergonomically poor. However, that might change this year.
Lastly, the iPad Mini getting an OLED display will be a huge upgrade for the compact tablet and is expected to lead to the next wave of OLED iPad Air models.
Apple Could Launch 9 Products by the First Half of 2027
While Apple's 2026 launch slate is home devices, Macs and iPad heavy, the 2027 slate is where we see the first wave of new iPhone launches. Apple is tipped to launch as many as 9 new products and they are as follows:
- iPhone 18
- iPhone 18e
- iPhone Air 2
- MacBook Air with M6
- MacBook Neo with A19 Pro
- iPad with Siri AI
- iPad Pro with M6
- iPad Air with M5 and OLED
- Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil with USB-C upgrades
The iPhone timing confirms Apple's split release strategy. We saw the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the iPhone Duo launch this month. The standard iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 had already emerged via macOS Tahoe code, with the V62 and V67 identifiers.
However, a new report suggests that iPhone Air 2 will be rebranded to iPhone 18, which, if true, will mean Apple launching the iPhone Air 2 with the iPhone 18 moniker and we could end up seeing only one of the true products launch.
We do not know much about the iPhone 18e at the moment; however, it is not expected to bring many changes compared to the iPhone 17e. Obviously, we can expect a price hike for the model, given that the ongoing RAM crisis has also made Apple hike the iPhone 17 price.
New Apple Pencil models also make sense now, given Apple has confirmed Pencil support for the iPhone Duo later this year.
That said, this is a rumour roundup rather than an Apple announcement, and timelines shift. For India specifically, the home products are the ones worth watching out for. Apple's smart home presence here has been minimal, and Siri AI does support Indian English, which removes one barrier. So, stay tuned.
