Apple took the wraps of the all-new iPhone 18 Pro series a few hours back. While the Cupertino brand has revealed all the information regarding the new iPhones, the brand doesn't mention the official battery capacities on stage. However, energy labels in the EU have confirmed the official figures.
iPhone 18 Pro Max Battery Is up 11.7% and iPhone 18 Pro Gains 1.7%
As per the EU labels of the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max, they now feature 4,056mAh and 5,391mAh battery capacities, respectively. This brings a 68mAh gain for the iPhone 18 Pro over the iPhone 17 Pro and a substantial 568mAh increase for the iPhone 18 Pro Max over the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
| Model | Battery Capacity | Change vs Predecessor |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone 18 Pro | 4,056mAh | +1.7% (from 3,988mAh) |
| iPhone 18 Pro Max | 5,391mAh | +11.7% (from 4,823mAh) |
The above-mentioned capacities are particularly important since they apply to iPhone 18 Pro models with a physical SIM tray. This covers regions like the UK, Europe and India.
Hence, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models in India will ship with the exact battery capacities as stated on the EU energy label.

Apple has not published the eSIM-only capacities yet and these models are sold in markets like the USA, Bahrain, Canada, Guam, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The iPhone 18 Pro models in these regions will get a slightly bigger battery compared to the ones with a physical SIM tray.
That said, the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max start in India at Rs 1,64,900 and Rs 1,79,900, respectively. Both phones start at 256 GB of storage and will go on sale on September 18, 2026. There is also the new foldable iPhone Duo starting at a whopping Rs 2,99,900.
