Up until the iPhone Duo pre-orders went live yesterday, all the specifications but the battery capacity of the Cupertino giant's first foldable were under wraps. Well, that officially changes now, as we finally know the exact battery capacity of the iPhone Duo.
Spotted first by MacRumors, Apple has officially published an EU energy label for the iPhone Duo. The label reveals the iPhone Duo's exact battery capacity, which is rated at 4,883mAh.

The battery is arranged in dual-cell mode, with a 2,962mAh cell on the right and a smaller 1,921mAh cell on the left. The model identifier is A3720, and the battery itself is marked as non-user-replaceable.
Additionally, the document rates the energy efficiency of the phone in class A, while also shedding light on its 51 hours and 30 minutes of endurance on a single full charge.
Besides, there's mention of IP68 ingress protection, and the battery is rated to last for over 1,000 cycles before it shows signs of deterioration.

While it scores great in the endurance department, repairability takes a back seat. The Phone scores an average 2.65 out of 5 in repairability, placing it in class C. Additionally, Apple mentions at least five years of updates, on par with the EU's 5-year recommended window, but it weirdly still gives the phone a 1 out of 5 rating.
Now that the exact battery capacity is here, this places the iPhone Duo ahead of the Galaxy Z Fold 8's smaller 4,800mAh typical battery capacity. Combined with Apple's interesting approach to Duo's vapour chamber and a more efficient 2nm A20 Pro processor, the iPhone Duo should not only run cooler on paper but also last longer per charge.
