Apple Rolls out iOS 26.3 Beta 2 for Eligible iPhones

After the official iOS 26.3 Beta 1 rollout last month, it is now time for iPhone owners to enjoy the second official beta update of iOS 26.3. This new update brings some nifty changes like Liquid Glass refinements, new app features and more to compatible iPhones.

Although it has been close to a month since the first beta was shipped to all iOS 26-supported devices, there have been no major changes with the new 17.79 GB update. It brings the same granular slider to adjust the lock screen clock opacity as part of the Liquid Glass update.

The next update has shipped to Apple Music, where offline lyrics support is finally live in the app. Users will be able to access the lyrics to their favourite songs without needing an active internet connection. For Apple Podcast listeners, Apple has added the ability to listen to auto-generated podcasts using AI. There are also now clickable links, redirecting users to the reference shows.

Also, with the iOS 26.3 Beta 2 update, the Games app can now support sorting games by category or size. Controller support has also been improved, along with live challenge score banners during gameplay.

Moreover, this update has also further refined the AirDrop Verification codes process for sharing files between iPhones. Now, users will not need to add another iPhone user to their contact list to share files, as the receiving iPhone can simply accept a generated PIN to allow the sharing iPhone to send data.

Aside from these, some other noteworthy updates include tweaks to the Astronomy and Weather wallpaper gallery, a new and simplified way to switch between iPhone and Android, in partnership with Google and more.

That said, eligible users can install the iOS 26.3 Beta 2 update by heading over to Settings> General> Software Update> Update Now. The update is currently going live from the iPhone 11 to the latest iPhone 17 series.
