CMF Speaker S and M Design
Starting with the design, it is arguably the biggest talking point of the new speakers. Both models feature a boxy, gable-top milk carton-like design, complete with a built-in handle that makes them easy to carry or hang. The speakers sport a soft-touch matte finish, while their removable components let users personalise their appearance.
The smaller CMF Speaker S features a single front grille, while the taller Speaker M comes with two drivers and a more substantial audio setup. Both models are available in four colour options: white, dark grey, orange and turquoise.

The speakers also feature a multifunction control knob on the front that lets users adjust the volume and control playback. The front panel and knob can be removed and replaced with alternative designs, allowing users to customise the speakers to their liking. CMF also plans to release design files that will let users 3D-print their own replacement components.

CMF Speaker S and M Audio Features
Moving to audio, the two speakers differ considerably in their driver configurations. The CMF Speaker S features a custom-tuned 45mm full-range driver paired with two passive radiators to improve low-frequency response.
The larger CMF Speaker M, meanwhile, features a dedicated 10W tweeter and a 25W woofer. This setup is designed to deliver deeper bass while improving the separation between instruments and vocals.

Both speakers support customisable sound profiles through the Nothing X app, allowing users to tailor their listening experience. They also support stereo pairing, letting users connect two Speaker S or two Speaker M units for left- and right-channel audio. However, the two models cannot be paired together for stereo playback.
