Known for its smartwatches and wireless earbuds, Indian consumer tech brand Fire-Boltt is now gearing up to enter a new product category: smartphones. The brand has now started teasing the launch of its smartphones under a new "Boltt" sub-brand in India.

Fire-Boltt Smartphones "Coming Soon" to India

An official Flipkart microsite is now live, confirming the arrival of Boltt-branded smartphones in India very soon. It confirms the "Boltt" sub-branding and falls in line with a recent report, which revealed that Fire-Boltt smartphones will launch in July 2026.

The brand hasn't revealed any other details about the new phones. From the looks of it, there will be not one, but multiple smartphones. Reports indicate that the brand has two to three Boltt phones in the pipeline, planned for a July 2026 launch.

Leaks have also claimed that the brand will target the sub-Rs 20,000 segment and that every Boltt phone will feature a Unisoc chipset. It is unclear which exact Unisoc chipset will be powering the phone. It could either be the Unisoc T7250 found in the Ai+ Pulse 2 or the Unisoc T8200 powering the HMD Vibe 2 5G.

Boltt-branded phones will likely compete directly with the likes of Lava, Ai+ and HMD. Moreover, given the current RAM crisis situation, the brand could emerge as a solid alternative for consumers if the price-to-specifications ratio is balanced well. However, we will know more once Fire-Boltt reveals additional details in the coming days, so stay tuned.
