Motorola kicked off 2026 by launching the Motorola Edge 70 and Edge 70 Fusion but it looks like the brand will be adding a lot more phones to the lineup. Reliable tipster Evan Blass managed to scrub Lenovo's SmartFind website to unearth a detailed list of these phones.
Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, Edge 70 Pro+ and more could launch in 2026
Blass shares the codenames of upcoming Motorola phones in 2026 and starting with Urus, this codename has been designated to the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, a.k.a, the Motorola Signature.
The smartphone has already launched in India and we know it denotes the most premium offering of the "Edge 70" series, bringing specs like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, 165 Hz LTPO AMOLED display, 50 MP Sony LYT-600 3x periscope camera, 7 years of software updates and more.
Similarly, Avenger and Equator codenames, assigned to Motorola Edge 70 and Edge 70 Fusion, have already been launched in India. Even the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ (codenamed Avenger+) also very recently went official in Brazil.
Hence, only the Motorola Edge 70 Pro (Terrain), Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ (Terrain+) and Motorola Edge 70 Pro Lite (Terrain Lite) are the only ones that are yet to launch in 2026. In all, Blass' post reveals seven Edge 70-branded phones scheduled for 2026.
This in itself is a big deal, considering the Edge 60 family of smartphones only contained 5 phones. So, Motorola is expanding its portfolio to launch devices in every price segment for every user. That said, at the time of writing, not much info is available about the yet-to-launch Edge 70 series phones. However, given the brand has already launched four of them, it won't be long before the other three go official as well.
