At the Pixel 11 series launch last month, Google confirmed Fitbit Air's India launch is in October 2026. Now, thanks to a new leak, we may have an exact launch date, as well as the price of the screenless fitness tracker in India.
Fitbit Air Could Launch in India on October 2
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, Google has sent retail partners a heads-up memo confirming the Fitbit Air will arrive in India on October 2, 2026.

The tipster also reveals that the accompanying marketing toolkit will land with partners by September 28. The leaked internal note reportedly asks retailers to plan their in-store, website, social and digital communications around the date.

Fitbit Air Price in India Leaked
Choudhary's leak pegs the Indian price at Rs 12,999 to Rs 13,999. That lines up almost exactly with a separate leak from Ripudaman (@mrtechsense on X), who claims Flipkart briefly listed the Fitbit Air for Rs 13,999 across its black, blue and red variants.

However, we couldn't spot the listing and it appears Flipkart has taken it down. Two unrelated leaks converging on the same number are usually a decent sign that the figure is close to final, though Google hasn't confirmed pricing yet.
For context, the Fitbit Air starts at $99.99 (approx. Rs 9,600) in the US, so Indian buyers should expect to pay a premium over the US sticker price once it lands here. This is not unusual for imported wearables once duties and margins are factored in.

Fitbit Air Specifications and Features

The Fitbit Air ditches the screen altogether. It's a small, pebble-shaped tracker that leans entirely on haptic buzzes and a status light for feedback. All your health data, trends, and coaching tips are pushed to the Google Health app instead. Here's what's on board:
- Optical heart-rate sensor + SpO2 monitoring
- Skin temperature sensors
- 3-axis accelerometer + gyroscope
- Vibration motor for haptic alerts
- 5ATM water resistance
- Up to 7 days of battery life with magnetic charging
- Weighs just 5.2g
That combination puts it in the same conversation as devices like the Oura Ring or Whoop band as minimal, screen-free trackers built for people who want continuous health data without another notification-buzzing gadget on their wrist.
If you want a display, apps, or live workout stats, this isn't the device for you. In that case, a regular fitness band or smartwatch would serve you better.
That said, with the Fitbit Air launch date in India having surfaced online, expect Google to soon officially confirm the date. Stay tuned for all the updates!
