After unveiling the Pixel 11 series at the Made by Google event, Google has now announced at a press event in India that Fitbit Air is arriving soon. The much-anticipated screenless fitness tracker will launch in India in October 2026.

Fitbit Air India Launch Timeline Revealed

Google has revealed that the Fitbit Air will be arriving in India in October 2026. For those unaware, Fitbit Air launched in the US back in May 2026, and while it soon hit the shelves, its arrival in India was unknown until today.

The Fitbit Air is a departure from traditional smartwatches with fitness tracking capabilities. It eliminates the display to function as a lightweight, minimalist wearable designed to blend seamlessly with users.

At 12 grams of weight, it is designed to work 24x7. The tracker strictly prioritises passive background health tracking, similar to other offerings on the market, such as Whoop.

Despite its size, the Fitbit Air is equipped to monitor heart rate, sleep quality, heart rate variability, and SpO2 levels and can even detect irregular heart rate rhythms linked to atrial fibrillation (AFib). Besides, the tracker can last for up to 7 days on a single charge.

On the software front, the tracker can be connected to Google's new Health app. The Fitbit Air can leverage Google Health Coach, an AI-powered wellness assistant powered by Gemini. Health Coach analyses your health data to offer personalised tips, workout routines and recovery suggestions.

While the Fitbit Air is already available in the US, UK and Australia for $99 (approximately Rs 10,000), the Indian pricing is currently unknown. However, recent industry leaks strongly suggest the tracker will be priced around Rs 12,000 when it officially hits the shelves in October 2026.

That said, colour options include Obsidian, Berry, Lavender and Fog. Like most Google products in India, the Fitbit Air should be available via Flipkart and the official Google India store. More information about the exact launch date and pre-orders should be revealed as we approach October, so stay tuned.
