With the Pixel 11 series launch just hours away, a new leak now suggests that all four Pixel 11 models could launch in India at higher prices than their predecessors. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is said to see the biggest price increase.
Pixel 11 Leaked India Pricing
According to insights obtained by Gizbot, the entry-level Google Pixel 11 will start at Rs 89,999. That's a Rs 10,000 increase over the Pixel 10's launch price of Rs 79,999. The Pro models could follow a similar upward trajectory, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold may receive the steepest hike.
The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to cost Rs 1,19,999, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL could cost Rs 1,34,999. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold may get the steepest hike to Rs 1,86,999. That's a Rs 10,000 hike across slab phones and a whopping Rs 14,000 hike on the foldable.
Bear in mind that we're talking about the base storage variants here. For those unaware, a recent Pixel 11 leak revealed the phone may stick to 12 GB of base RAM and 256 GB of storage, unlike previous rumours suggesting a downgrade to 8 GB of RAM due to the ongoing RAM crisis.
Similarly, the Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL base storage variants are expected to boast 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Interestingly, the Fold may get 512 GB of base storage with 16 GB of RAM to justify the massive price increase and make it feel like a more lucrative buy.
These price adjustments also align with recent comments from Google's Vice President of Hardware, Shakil Barkat, who said the increased costs are a result of the ongoing memory crunch.
