Google's biggest hardware event of the year is nearly here. The Made by Google event is confirmed for August 12 at 6 PM ET (3:30 AM IST on August 13) in New York, where the tech giant will unveil the Pixel 11 series. The Pixel Watch 5 and other accessories are also expected to tag along and here's a rundown of everything you can expect at the upcoming event.
Google Pixel 11
Google is expected to introduce four phones this year, as usual: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Talking about the standard Pixel 11 first, it isn't expected to look dramatically different from the Pixel 10, retaining the same horizontal camera bar, rounded corners, and a roughly 6.3-inch display.
The bigger change is under the hood, with Google's new Tensor G6 chipset, reportedly the first smartphone chip built on TSMC's 2nm process, expected to bring meaningful gains in efficiency and performance over the Tensor G5.
Camera-wise, this is where things could actually get worse rather than better. Reports suggest the Pixel 11 might lose the telephoto lens entirely, just a year after Google added one to the Pixel 10, shipping instead with only a 48 MP main sensor and a 13 MP ultrawide.
Battery capacity is rumoured to sit around 5,000mAh, with both wired and wireless charging support carrying over.
Thanks to previously leaked Pixel 11 series Amazon listings, we know that the base 128 GB storage tier could disappear entirely across the lineup, making 256 GB the new starting point for every model. This is similar to what Apple did with the iPhone 17.
As for pricing, leaks suggest that the Pixel 11 could start at $899 (approximately Rs 85,000). The phone is said to come in Hibiscus (deep pink), Pistachio (moss green) and Obsidian (black) colourways.

Google Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL
The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to slot in with a similar 6.3-inch display to its predecessor, though possibly switching to a different panel technology for improved brightness. It's tipped to retain its full triple-camera system, unlike the base model.
Most importantly, it will feature the new RGB LED notification light built into the camera bar, referred to in leaks as either "Pixel Glow" or "HiLight".
Under the hood, expect the same Tensor G6 chip as the rest of the lineup, paired with 16 GB of RAM, a Titan M3 security chip and a MediaTek M90 modem replacing the Samsung Exynos modem used previously.
Battery capacity is rumoured at 4,850mAh, a slight dip from the Pixel 10 Pro's 4,870mAh unit, with charging speeds possibly bumped up from 30W to 45W.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL follows mostly the same script as the Pro, just in a larger 6.8-inch package. It's expected to share the same Tensor G6 chip, camera system and HiLight lighting feature.
However, the Pro XL is said to pack a larger 5,115mAh battery to match its bigger footprint, though that's still marginally smaller than the Pixel 10 Pro XL's 5,200mAh battery capacity.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL prices are expected to start at $1,099 (approximately Rs 1,06,000) and $1,299 (approximately Rs 1,25,000), respectively. While the Pixel 11 Pro price remains the same as its predecessor, the Pro XL's pricing suggests a $100 bump from the last generation.
Both Pixel 11 Pro phones are said to come in Pine (moss), Sterling (light blue), Light Fog (light violet) and Dune (beige orange) colour options.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold
Google's second-generation foldable isn't expected to see a major structural redesign, sticking with a similar 8-inch inner display, a roughly 6.4-inch outer screen and an aluminium-and-glass build.
The camera module is expected to be slightly reworked to make room for the Pixel Glow lighting element. Moreover, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is rumoured to gain 100x zoom via machine learning, along with 4K @ 30 FPS support for Cinematic Blur video.
Battery capacity is expected to dip to around 4,800mAh, down from the previous generation's 5,015mAh, with Google likely leaning on the Tensor G6's efficiency gains to make up the difference.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold price is expected to start at $1,899 (approximately Rs 1,83,000). The foldable is expected to come in Midnight (Obsidian) and Pine (Olive) colour options.

However, the regular Pixel 11 may lose out on it.

Instead of simply answering questions, it can understand what you want and carry out multi-step tasks across different apps. For example, it can read information from Gmail and use it to add items to a shopping cart.
Put simply, Gemini Intelligence is designed to make Android phones more proactive, letting Gemini actually get things done for you rather than just giving you answers.

Google Pixel Watch 5
Alongside the next-generation Pixel phones, the Pixel Watch 5 is expected to launch in 41mm and 45mm sizes, with and without LTE.
It's rumoured to run on a faster Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset with storage doubled to 64 GB from the Pixel Watch 4. However, battery ratings are expected to stay flat at 30 and 40 hours, depending on size.

Google Pixel Tag
There's also chatter that Google could use this event to introduce its first Bluetooth tracker, the Pixel Tag, which would put it in direct competition with Apple's AirTag and Samsung's Galaxy SmartTag. It features an oblong shape and could arrive in a white "Fog Light" colourway.
As per leaks, the Pixel Tag price could be set at 35 Euros (approximately Rs 3,600), the same as Apple's AirTag's pricing. Apart from this, the rumour mill hasn't been able to spill any of its technical details so far.
Overall, the Pixel 11 series seems to be quite the upgrade over the Pixel 10 phones, thanks to the expected Tensor G6 chipset, HiLight feature and AI features.
