After lots of teasing and rumours around the expansion of the existing Honor 600 series, the brand has finally unveiled the latest Honor 600e smartphone. The Honor 600e is finally available for purchase in Peru, but it already sells in regions like Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Europe as the Honor 600 Lite, with a few differences.
Honor 600e Specifications
Starting with the design, the Honor 600e comes with an aluminium frame and a glass rear panel with a smooth matte finish. The rear is quite clean with a square camera island consisting of two cameras and an LED flash ring. The phone is available in four colours – Sprout Green, Desert Gold andVelvet Grey.
The front houses a 6.6-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. It's a 10-bit display and is protected by Aluminosilicate glass. The display features 3,840Hz PWM dimming and comes with minimal bezels with a pill-shaped notch at the top.
Powering the smartphone is a Dimensity 7100 chipset, an octa-core processor featuring a 4+4 setup, consisting of Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores. The processor is rated to reach a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz and is accompanied by a Mali G610 MC2 GPU. Complementing the performance is LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Coming to the cameras, the Honor 600e packs a 108 MP f/1.75 main sensor with 10x digital zoom as well as a 5 MP ultrawide lens. Selfies are handled by a 16 MP front camera.
Despite measuring slim at 7.34 mm and weighing just 180 grams, the phone is fuelled by a slightly larger 6,520mAh battery than its regional Lite counterpart, with support for 45W fast charging. Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 6.0, a USB 2.0 Type-C port and NFC.
Honor 600e Price in Peru and Availability
To reiterate, the Honor 600e arrives in four colourways – Sprout Green, Desert Gold and Velvet Grey. The phone will be available in only one storage variant, i.e., 8 GB + 512 GB, and early buyers can score a 5% discount alongside a free Honor Choice Earbuds X7 Lite and Honor Choice Watch 2i smartwatch. The phone can be bought from the Honor Peru storefront for 1,999 Peruvian soles (approximately Rs 56,000).
