Infinix is bringing more personality to the budget smartphone segment with the launch of the Hot 70 Pro 5G. The Infinix Hot 70 Pro features heat-sensitive, light-reactive and holographic bank panel designs. It joins the Hot 70 lineup as a more premium alternative to the standard Infinix Hot 70, which launched in Indonesia earlier this year.
Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
Starting with the design, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G features what the brand is calling the Dynamic Shine Design, which is based on the idea of "self-expression tech". The phone comes in six fun colourways – Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, Silk Glow, Depth Ring, Dive Blue and Night Pulse.
While the Dive Blue and Night Pulse colours feature a clean and minimal back design, the Thermo Orange option is the only one that brings a heat-sensitive back cover which can transition from a light orange (65°C and above) to a deep orange (below 0°C) based on temperature fluctuations.

Next, the Mirage Green option of the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G comes with a light-sensitive vegan leather back, which looks normal during the daytime but transforms into a "luminous, starry-sky texture" with exposure to natural light.
Similarly, the Depth Ring and Silk Glow colourways feature a 3D holographic back and colour-shift back panels, respectively.

Moreover, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G also brings the Active Matrix mini LED display, similar to the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G. However, unlike that phone, here the Active Matrix Cube is discreetly placed inside the third camera lens cutout.
Moving on, at the front, the phone features a large 6.76-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate and 950 nits of high brightness. This display is encased within a 7.85mm-thick body that's also quite durable with an IP68 rating.
Powering the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G is the budget Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS2.2 storage. The phone ships with XOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box and brings the brand's Folax AI voice assistant and a One-Tap AI button to wake the assistant.
For photography, the phone is equipped with a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera and an 8 MP secondary lens. The selfie camera is an 8 MP shooter. An interesting bit about the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G is its battery. Depending on the launch region, the phone will either ship with a 6,000mAh battery or a 5,600mAh cell. However, both options will support 45W fast charging.
Talking about the other Infinix Hot 70 Pro specs, the phone brings a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a single bottom-firing speaker, dual SIM 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, an infrared sensor and a USB-C 2.0 port.
As far as pricing and availability details go, Infinix has not revealed those at the moment. We will know more once region-specific launches happen. So, stay tuned.
