Last month, the Infinix Hot 70 4G went official in Indonesia, marking the arrival of the Hot 70 series. While the brand is yet to launch the phone in other markets, it seems like the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G is already in the works as the phone's design, launch timeline and key specs have now leaked online.
Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G Could Launch in India Soon
A new exclusive report from tech publication Passionategeekz has revealed that the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G is being prepped for launch soon in markets like India. It will succeed the Infinix Hot 60 Pro and this time around, is said to bring a Dot Matrix display at the back.
However, the implementation will be nowhere close to what we see on the Infinix Note 60 Pro. Unlike that phone where the extended camera island is used for the display, the Hot 70 Pro 5G is seemingly making use of one of the camera lenses for the same.
As shown on the above image, the phone will bring a floating lens design with the third camera cutout being used for a Dot Matrix screen. It is discreet compared the the Note 60 Pro but is expected to function the same way by displaying notifications, quick info and more. The leaked image has been shown off in a dark green minimal design.
As for its specs, the report claims the phone will bring a 6.76-inch HD+ LCD display with the Dimensity 7100 5G chipset underneath paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage . It is also said to feature a large 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast USB-C charging and run on the latest XOS 16 update based on Android 16. Rest, it could bring a 50 MP main camera.
That said, this is the first Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G leak and hence should be taken with a pinch of salt. With an expected July or August 2026 launch window, we can expect Infinix to start officially teasing the phone close to launch. So, stay tuned.
