Earlier this year, Infinix expanded its "Note" series with the launch of the Infinix Note 60 Pro. The smartphone instantly stood out thanks to an all-new LED matrix display at the back and is already on sale in markets like Kenya and the Middle East. Now, the brand has officially confirmed the phone's arrival in India and it will retain the same design and specifications.
Infinix Note 60 Pro India Launch Teased via Flipkart
The official Flipkart microsite of the Infinix Note 60 Pro is now live and it shifts the spotlight to what Infinix is calling the Active Matrix display. Similar to what Nothing does with its Glyph Matrix, Infinix's implementation is much more stealthy. It is embedded within the camera island and comprises 288 LED lights that can be controlled independently.

The brand has shown off a bunch of use cases for the Active Matrix. For instance, folks can use the back display as a quick-glance window for important notifications like calls and messages, time and weather, battery level and charging, and push notifications and updates.
However, it can also be simply used as a personal expression tool with Pixel Pets, Mini Games like Dosh Dash and Star Blast and music-responsive lighting effects. Infinix Note 60 Pro will come with a dedicated Customisable Matrix Studio to help users choose from a variety of preset options or add their own custom pixel designs like signatures, DND modes, birthdays and more.

Infinix Note 60 Pro Specifications
Now, while Infinix has entirely focused upon the Active Matrix display in its first teaser, the Flipkart page confirms that the next batch of reveals will happen on April 4, 2026. However, ahead of that, thanks to the official Infinix Note 60 Pro announcement, we have a fair bit of an idea about its specifications.
For instance, one of the teaser images shows off a Snapdragon logo projected via the Active Matrix display. This confirms that Infinix could use the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset in India, as it has done with the global variant. The phone is expected to ship with the latest XOS 16 update based on Android 16.

Furthermore, the smartphone is expected to rock a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144 Hz AMOLED display with 4,500 nits of peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. For the body, Infinix has confirmed it is using a metal mid-frame. An interesting feature that the Note 60 Pro could bring to India is a customisable One-Tap button on the side, which integrates sensors to track heart rate, blood oxygen, and HRV (heart rate variability).
Aside from that, the phone could also bring a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, a 50 MP main camera, an IP64 rating, JBL-tuned stereo speakers and more. As for colour options, Infinix has teased the phone in the Solar Orange colour option. It is unclear if the Deep Ocean Blue, Mocha Brown, Frost Silver, and Torino Black (Design by Pininfarina) options will also come to India.
That said, with official teasers underway, we can expect the Note 60 Pro to launch in India this month itself. If priced right, the phone has the potential to deliver a well-rounded package with a unique design flair as well.
