Back in February 2026, the Lava Bold N2 launched in India as a budget 4G smartphone. Now, after almost four months, the brand has decided to follow it up with the Lava Bold N2 5G. As the name suggests, the phone comes with 5G connectivity and is launching in India as early as next month.
Lava Bold N2 5G Launch Date in India Announced
A dedicated Amazon microsite for the Lava Bold N2 5G has gone live and confirmed that the phone will launch in India on June 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Teased as a "No Nonsense Phone", it has been teased with a clean Android 16 experience and is part of Lava's “Free Service @ Home” program.
Also, aside from the launch date announcement, Lava has also teased the design of the phone in a dark blue colourway and a squircle camera deco with dual lenses and an LED flash. It appears to be relatively flush with the back with very minimal protrusion.
The right-hand side positioning of the power and volume buttons is also clear from the teaser image. As for the phone's specs, there is no word on that yet. However, if we go by the recently launched Lava Shark 2 5G, there is a chance that apart from the change in processor and battery capacity, the Bold N2 5G will be similar to the Bold N2 4G.
Hence, we can expect the phone to ship with a 6.75-inch HD+ 90 Hz LCD display, feature a bigger 6,000mAh battery, IP64 rating, 13 MP main camera and more. It could be priced under Rs 13,000. That said, we will know for sure when the phone goes official next week. So, stay tuned.
