After launching the Motorola Edge 70 in India last year, the brand is finally bringing its Fusion sibling to the country. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion launch date in India has been officially set for next week and a bunch of its key specifications have also been confirmed. 

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion India launch date set for March 6

After teasing the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion India launch a couple of days ago, the brand took to its official India X handle to confirm that the phone will be launching in the country on March 6, 2026, as the "world's first 50 MP Sony-LYT 710 camera with moto ai". It will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Motorola.com and other partner retail stores.

We also get a good look at the design of the upcoming phone and while it will retain the signature Motorola Edge look, the cameras are placed on a dedicated square-shaped module this time around instead of being blended with the back panel. Colourways of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion were also confirmed and it will arrive in the Pantone-backed Silhouette, Country Air and Blue Surf options.

Apart from this, the brand has also confirmed a bunch of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion key specs. 

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Specifications and Features

The brand's up and coming Fusion will feature a 1.5K 144 Hz "true color" quad curved display with a peak brightness of 5,200 nits. This panel will also bring HDR10+ certification, smart water touch 3.0 and SGS eye protection

In addition, the phone is said to be 7.99mm slim while packing a big 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. It will also come with support for 68W fast charging and power sharing.

For photos and videos, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is confirmed to sport a 50 MP Sony-LYT 710 camera, backed by moto ai for "ultra clear low light images" and "brighter highlights in videos". The primary sensor will be paired with a 13 MP ultrawide that doubles down as a macro and depth shooter. At the front, the phone will feature a 32 MP selfie shooter.

Moto ai will also bring AI photo enhancement and AI adaptive stabilisation features. All the cameras are also confirmed to bring 4K video recording to the table, making it an ideal choice for content creators. 

For now, this is all that's known about the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, but the brand is set to reveal more details on February 28, 2026. So, stay tuned.
