Motorola has expanded its Edge lineup in India with the launch of the Edge 70. The ultra-slim phone brings capable cameras, long-term software support and a big battery in a lightweight design. With that said, here's a rundown of the Motorola Edge 70 specifications, India pricing and availability.
Motorola Edge 70 Specifications and Features
One of the key highlights of the Edge 70 is its 6.7-inch flat Extreme AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Super HD (2712 x 1220) resolution. Motorola has leaned heavily into colour accuracy, with Pantone Validated colours and SkinTone certification, 10-bit colour depth and 100% DCI-P3 coverage.
The panel also supports HDR10+ and reaches up to a staggering 4,500 nits of peak brightness. It is also backed by SGS Blue Light and Motion Blur Reduction certifications, making it well-suited for both media consumption and prolonged usage.

At its core, the Motorola Edge 70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Despite packing robust internals, the Edge 70 is only 5.99mm thick and weighs just 159 grams. The build combines a fabric-inspired silicone finish on the back, an aircraft-grade aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front, while an AI key on the side enables quick access to smart features.
Camera performance is another strong pillar, with the rear setup being led by a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS. The main camera is complemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a macro shooter with autofocus, a120-degree FOV and a dedicated 3-in-1 light sensor. At the front, there's a 50 MP selfie shooter to make use of.
The camera software suite is extensive and features Night Vision, 20x Super Zoom, Pantone Colour validation, Adobe Scan integration and a host of Google Photos AI tools like Magic Eraser, Magic Editor and Photo Unblur. Video recording tops out at 4K @ 60 FPS across all cameras with features like Horizon Lock, Adaptive Stabilisation and Audio Zoom.
Fueling the device is a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Motorola claims can deliver up to 40 hours of battery life, along with 31 hours of continuous video playback. Charging is handled by 68W TurboPower fast charging with the added convenience of 15W wireless charging.
Durability is another area where the Motorola Edge 70 punches above its weight with an IP68 and IP69 rating and MIL-STD 810H certification. Connectivity options are adequate, with support for sub-6 GHz 5G across 16 bands, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and stereo speakers backed by Dolby Atmos. Security is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock and Motorola's ThinkShield protection suite.

Out of the box, the Motorola Edge 70 runs on Android 16 and is backed by three major OS updates and four years of security patches. The phone also integrates Moto AI, Google Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, making it quite the AI-powered device.
