The all-new Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is just days away from going official in India. Ahead of that, the brand has revealed several of the smartphone's key details including its display, battery, processor, camera and more.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ To Be Powered By Dimensity 8500 Extreme
The official Flipkart microsite of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ has now been updated to reveal more of the phone's specs. It previously gave us the camera and colour options of the Edge 70 Pro+ and now has confirmed the Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor for the phone, which is essentially an overclocked variant of the Dimensity 8500 chipset.

This doesn't come as a surprise since the Edge 70 Pro+ landed on Geekbench with the same chipset and it is also the same processor found inside the Motorola Edge 70 Pro. It will be paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and will also include a 4,600 mm² vapour chamber cooling module.
Furthermore, the landing page also confirms the previous rumours of the phone bringing a quad-curved display. Edge 70 Pro+ will feature a 6.8-inch quad-curved Extreme AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate and 5,200 nits of peak brightness. It will be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

Moreover, while the phone is getting the same 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast USB-C charging as that of the Edge 70 Pro, it is also gaining 15W wireless charging which the latter missed out on. In terms of software, the phone will launch with the latest Hello UI update based on Android 16.
Motorola is promising 3 years of software and 5 years of security update. It will bring moto AI integration which users can invoke to either chat with Google Gemini or Perplexity or Microsoft Copilot. The phone will also bring four moto AI exclusive features - next move, remember this, catch me up and pay attention.

Rest, it is confirmed to bring IP68 + IP69 ratings, military-grade durability, stereo speakers and Hi-Res audio support. For cameras, the brand previously confirmed a 50 MP Sony LYT-710 main camera and a 50 MP 3.5x periscope lens, with four different focal lengths - 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm.
That said, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ India launch is set for June 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. it will be made available in Pantone-validated, Zinfandel (satin luxe finish), Stormy Sea (twill textured) and Chicory Coffee (sculpted wood finish) colour options. Current price estimation for the phone is said to be under Rs 40,000.
