Nothing Phone (3) Specifications Surface Before Launch

A new leak of the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) gives us a slightly deeper look at its potential specifications. This includes considerable camera upgrades, better display specifications, and faster charging.

According to Gadget Bits on X, the Nothing Phone (3) could feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED LTPO display alongside a triple camera setup. The setup, if true, could be the best on-paper camera setup ever on a Nothing phone with a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP 3x periscope, and a 50 MP ultrawide snapper. The front camera is also supposedly a 50 MP unit.

We've seen multiple leaks reporting conflicting battery capacities from 5,000mAh to 5,300mAh, but the new leak suggests it could be a 5,150mAh unit with 100W charging support. Besides, it could also feature wireless and reverse wireless charging. 

The software side of things have largely been in the dark. However, Nothing recently promised 7 years of software updates for the Phone (3). The latest leak suggests the phone could run Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15. This goes against initial rumours that suggested version 3.5 might be based on Android 16, just like Nothing OS 2.5 was based on Android 14, while OS 2.0 was based on Android 13. 

Apart from that, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset has been confirmed for the Phone (3) as well. Recently, the brand also confirmed the "Glyph Matrix" to replace the Glyph Interface on its upcoming flagship. 

While the Nothing Phone (3) looks solid on paper in the current leak, it's worth noting that this leaker is not a credible source in our opinion, so do take it all with a grain of salt. The good thing is that since the Nothing Phone (3) launch date is scheduled for July 1, 2025, we won't have to wait long to get all the details.
