Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 9 Beta 4 update for the Galaxy S26 series in India. The latest release brings several bug fixes, performance improvements and the July 2026 security patch for users enrolled in the beta program.

The update integrates a few core interface enhancements while bringing the July 2026 security patch. More importantly, it also addresses a few issues and bug fixes from the older Beta updates.

For starters, the update fixes a bug on One UI 9 beta-running Galaxy phones where the lock screen clock appeared distorted when switching between orientations. Besides, it corrects failures tied to Privacy Display (Galaxy S26 Ultra only), which caused the routine feature toggle to not work sometimes

The update also addresses a bug that caused the system navigation bar to vanish during active gaming sessions. User interface responsiveness has also been optimised, especially in the Quick Settings panel, which was experiencing framerate drops.

Lastly, clipped text elements and overall layout instability inside the Live Notification timer cards have also been fixed. The update also restores the functionality of Bluetooth audio volume when paired with car audio units via the Routines application.

The One UI 9.0 Beta 4 update is now available for all Galaxy S26 series users who signed up for the Beta. Those who didn't can still sign up, as Samsung has made One UI 9 sign-ups easier with a persistent banner on the main page of the Samsung Members app.

With the brand set to roll out the stable One UI 9.0 during the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 launch in Galaxy Unpacked 2026 on July 22, 2026, we should see a few more Beta releases before that.

That said, Samsung has already been rigorously testing the update across most  One UI 9 eligible devices. So, expect the stable rollout to start reaching other newer Galaxy phones in phases very soon. Until then, stay tuned.
