Samsung is moving quickly with One UI 9 as it's preparing for its global rollout. Internal builds based on Android 17 have already been spotted on the Galaxy S26 series, and the public beta is just weeks away. If you are wondering whether your Galaxy phone or tablet will get the upgrade, here is the full list of One UI 9 eligible devices along with the expected rollout timeline.
Samsung One UI 9 Eligible Devices
The Galaxy S26 series will be the first to receive One UI 9 Beta through the Samsung Members app. The rollout is expected in late May or early June 2026, and the stable version of One UI 9 could arrive in July 2026. After that, the update will likely expand to the Galaxy S25 and S24 series in August and September. The Galaxy S23 series, mid-range A-series and tablets will follow towards the end of 2026.
Keep in mind that Samsung has not officially confirmed the eligible devices list for One UI 9 yet. It usually publishes the list only after the beta update is rolled out. The below list is based on Samsung's 4–7 years of update policy and matches what we have seen in early Android 17 firmware leaks. Latest flagship phones are guaranteed to receive up to seven major Android updates, and mid-range or entry-level phones will get four to six years of updates.
Samsung Galaxy S Series

The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra ship with One UI 8.5 out of the box and will be the first phones to get the One UI 9 update through the Beta Programme. With that said, here is the expected list of One UI 9 eligible devices.
