As Samsung rolls out the One UI 9 Beta 3 update for the Galaxy S26 series, it has announced a huge change to the Beta program. The brand has streamlined how users join and leave testing phases, making the overall process a bit user-friendly and completely painless.
Samsung Simplifies One UI Beta Enrollment and Exit Process
Spotted first by SamMobile, Samsung is streamlining the entire One UI 9.0 sign-up process from the registration process to consenting to legal agreements. The new method also makes it much easier to sign up for betas right from the Members app rather than digging around for the same.

Starting with the consent part. Signing up for Beta meant users had to manually accept the Beta Terms and Conditions separately for every model they owned. However, that changes as they only need to do it a single time now. The consent is then shared until it is manually withdrawn by the user.
Then comes a permanent One UI Beta Home dashboard that is now permanently visible in the Samsung Members app. Users can use this hub to join Beta builds as soon as they're made available, thereby eliminating the need to go digging into the app to find the banner.

The brand is also making it easier to opt out of betas and re-enrol on Samsung phones. Just like Google Pixel phones, users can now leave the beta program by navigating to the Beta's details screen, going to the More menu and tapping the Withdraw button.
Once the withdrawal is accepted, the system allows users to return to the latest stable One UI release for their phone. And if the user changes their mind later, they don't need to start the registration process all over again. Instead, they can just go to the banner and opt in.

Lastly, the Tips interface in the Samsung Members app is also receiving new features, where the section now contains comprehensive information for Beta testers to troubleshoot if anything goes wrong. This includes guides to backup, install an update, rollback and FAQs.
That said, this should motivate more users to join the beta channel to test out new features, which could accelerate the entire process. With Samsung aggressively testing One UI 9 Beta on Galaxy S26, all these features could come in handy to users who are excited to try out the update.
